A note from me...
I have an incredible job. Every day, people come to my office in physical and emotional distress. They may have been living with pain for years-or their whole lives. They may be struggling with depression, anxiety or perhaps they haven't been able to get pregnant. And every day, I have the opportunity to improve the quality of someone's life with acupuncture and energy healing. I get to witness people who have battled disease for years brought back to optimal health, using these powerful healing modalities.

I also recognize that acupuncture is one tool among many, which is why I take an integrated approach to health. I believe it is important for western and eastern medicine to work together.

If you are new to acupuncture, I'd like to assure you that it is a comfortable, virtually pain-free experience. You may actually enjoy the sensation-and I know you'll appreciate how focused, relaxed, and revitalized it makes you feel!

Anisha Desai, M.Ac., Dipl.Ac., L.AC. is a compassionate healer and teacher. In 2007, she and her husband Paul, visited the poor African village of Kissima in Ghana to heal and teach villagers to heal others with the belief that teaching people to heal themselves and others would help to improve the health of the whole village.

I have successfully treated hundreds of people for a wide variety of ailments. I know how effective acupuncture is. I know three different styles of Acupuncture and can easily design a treatment plan specific to your needs.

At age 19 I had the opportunity to increase my confidence in acupuncture when I was diagnosed with a nerve disfunction in my right arm. My hand and wrist swelled, my upper back was as hard as a rock, the nerves stopped firing and it wasn't long before even small movements were impossible. My neurologist pushed me to try steroids and seizure medications which were unsuccessful. None of the doctors could explain what was happening. After months of frustration and my symptoms getting worse, I decided to try acupuncture. I felt so well cared for and really heard by my acupuncturist. After a few sessions my arm started to improve, but what was most striking was how much better I felt in every aspect of my life. My depression lifted, my asthma improved and I felt better equipped to make some lifestyle changes I desperately needed.  The side effects of acupuncture were incredible and so unexpected.

I am glad to say that, after consistent treatment and significant lifestyle changes, my hand is mobile, and I am almost able to write normally again. Acupuncture helped to bring my body back to optimal health and its essential nature.  I know that it can do the same for you.
